Parkside Pediatrics was born from a simple idea: that high-quality medical expertise should go hand in hand with a joyful patient experience.

Founded in 2026 by Dr. Lauren Garabelli and Dr. Stephanie Grim, two pediatricians with over 40 cumulative years of experience, our clinic brings together veteran wisdom and a shared passion for a more personal style of care.
Alongside our experienced nurse practitioner, Tara Henderson, we have built a practice that honors the trust parents place in us and is rooted in a culture of kindness. We don’t just see ourselves as individual providers; we are a collaborative team dedicated to supporting your family from birth through 18 years old.

Meet Our Providers

Dr. Lauren Garabelli
Dr. Lauren Garabelli was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She met her husband, Dr. Paul Garabelli, in medical school in North Carolina, before both moved to Texas to complete their residencies. Soon after the birth of their first child in 2010, they moved back to OKC to be closer to family.
Dr. Garabelli has practiced general pediatrics since 2009. She has always loved caring for children and watching them grow from infancy to adolescence. Dr. Garabelli enjoys helping patients through the joys and challenges of parenthood.
She and her husband have three children; as a family, they love to travel and learn about new cultures. They have a special love for the Pacific Northwest and visit there often. Dr Garabelli loves spending time with her family, walking their sweet dog, Wilson, and watching her kids play tennis and run cross country.

Dr. Stephanie Grim
Dr. Stephanie Grim was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She attended Hillsdale College in Michigan, where she played college basketball, before returning home for medical school at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Grim initially planned to do OB/GYN, but was continually drawn back to the babies and decided to pursue a career in pediatrics. She is passionate about newborn care and helping families navigate the ups and downs of raising a child.
She and her husband (Parkside’s office manager, Matt Grim) have three children. Now that her children are young adults, she especially appreciates the times that they are all together. She enjoys reading, rowing, traveling, and any time spent in the mountains.

Tara Henderson, NP
Tara Henderson, NP, was born and raised in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She has always loved working with children and started her higher education studying Child Development at Oklahoma State University. There, she discovered her dream of working one-on-one with kids in the clinic setting.
Tara’s favorite thing about her job is having the opportunity to play a key role in the health and development of a child, all the way from birth to adulthood. She is grateful to be a part of a team that does this with passion and excellence every day.
She and her husband have two children here on earth and one in heaven. Faith and church involvement are a large part of her family’s life. Tara enjoys spending her free time with friends and family and going on runs with her pup, Sunny. She loves all things outdoors and can often be found spending time with her boys at the park or the golf course.
